On this episode of The Dead Files, retired NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and physical medium Amy Allan travel to Bogalusa, LA where a vicious supernatural entity is wreaking havoc on a family’s health and mental well being. Wayla, her husband Hector, and their 15-year-old-son, Kristian, feel like they’re living a nightmare, as the paranormal activity in their home has made life a living hell. What started off as voices, shadows and mood swings has turned into physical attacks. Things have gotten so bad that Wayla now believes the activity in her home led to her father’s death. With her son now living in the same bedroom as Wayla’s deceased father, the attacks have worsened. If Amy and Steve are unable to rid the home of paranormal activity, Wayla fears her family could befall the same fate of her father. During their separate investigations, Steve uncovers a deadly riot just a half mile from Wayla’s house that left 4 people dead at the hands of a special police force hired to bust up the local laborers union. He also meets with the town’s retired police chief and learns of a deadly love triangle, where one woman poisons her neighbor in order to steal her husband. Meanwhile, on Amy’s late night walk of the property, she meets a vindictive dead man set on killing the living, as well as a powerful entity that consumes the personalities of those it encounters. In the episode’s haunting conclusion, Steve and Amy share their surprising findings with each other and their clients, in hopes of providing answers to the activity tearing this family apart. Will Wayla be able to save her family from the sufferings felt by her father, or will they become one of the evil entity’s lost personalities?
