Finest Artisan Food And Drink Products Now Available From New Online Marketplace

Food & Drink

Melted Inside is a new online marketplace featuring the UK’s finest independent artisan food and drinks makers. Consumers will find it much easier to access some of the country’s top small batch producers who haven’t had wide distribution until now. Makers are carefully selected and invited to be included in the Melted Inside online market. Once approved, artisans set up an online “stall” that lists all their products to supply direct to their customers. Many of these makers’ products have won prestigious Great Taste Awards (the world’s largest and most respected food and drink awards).

Founder Candy Bowles says that the concept of Melted Inside originated from her personal frustration of not knowing what food and drink makers are around where she lives. She’s a firm believer that we should know where our food comes from and who makes it. Launching a new marketplace during the lockdown was a leap of faith but the ongoing global pandemic has boosted online food orders to such an extent that there’s a shortage of food delivery slots. New companies like Melted Inside are helping to plug that gap and at the same time are offering more choices of lovingly-made products. Here’s a selection of some of the excellent artisan products available through the new Melted Inside market.

Cardiff-based Earl’s Kitchen owned by father and daughter team, Earl and Charmaine Smikle, offers a great range of Caribbean cooking sauces and chutneys. The Barbados Caribbean Sauce, Earl’s signature product, is a mild coconut Caribbean curry sauce with herbs and tropical flavors that works with any meat, fish or vegetable dish. There is also a vegan version.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
