Tuome, recently awarded a Michelin star for the second consecutive year, will offer a special three-course Christmas menu with a choice of appetizer, main, and dessert. Starting at 11:30 am on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, The Standard has crafted a festive ode to the holidays, a three-course meal with several luxe choices. The menu includes chestnut soup with Foie Gras tortellini and cinnamon-spiced apples; seared scallops with Celery root emulsion, squid ink ptitium and cauliflower; roasted Duck A la’ Orange with macerated berries and orange reduction; braised lamb shank with carrot, pommes puree and roasted haricot verts; and Chilean sea bass with romesco, stewed vegetables and herb aioli. CATCH NYC will be open for dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The 400 seat, tri-level restaurant offers plenty of space to celebrate, plus skyline views. In addition to the full a la carte menu, special Christmas dishes will include roasted Delicata squash salad (mint, pomegranate, truffle goat cheese, honey roasted walnuts), slow-cooked herb crusted lamb leg (mustard, balsamic lamb jus), potato Dauphinoise (celery root cream) and a Christmas Poptart with peppermint-white chocolate filling and cocoa-nib ice cream. Hell’s Kitchen
The newly opened upscale Korean restaurant from chef Sungchul Shim (previously of Le Bernardin, Per Se and Neta), serves a nine-course tasting menu of skewered dishes as well as menu items inspired by traditional festival cuisine of the Korean royal court. For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Sung is offering an elevated version of his tasting menu specialty items including crispy truffle asparagus with ricotta Doenjang; abalone with moo namul and anchovy espuma; lobster with gochujang beurre blanc and caramelized endive; and tuna bibimbap with spicy pollock roe, Seaweed Puree and brown butter soy. $150 per person, Reservations via Resy
