Farm Handpicks 2,000 Pounds Of Blueberries A Day | Food Insider

Food & Drink
Josh Pond in Whiting, Maine, handpicks 2,000 pounds of blueberries a day and packs 30,000 pounds per season. Every day during harvest season, from mid-August to mid-September, the berries are gently raked by hand to preserve their natural form. After the berries are lifted off their bushes, they are packed and frozen within 24 hours of leaving the field, ensuring high-quality flavor and peak nutrition.
