Uber’s Drizly Announces The Most Popular Non-Alcoholic Drinks Of 2023

Food & Drink

Drizly, the beer, wine and spirits delivery service owned by Uber
UBER
, announced the most popular non-alcoholic beverages ordered through its service in 2023.

Drizly operates in over 1,500 cities. Because it works with thousands of local retailers in each market and merely provides the platform upon which consumers can order tens of thousands of individual products, it has a rich, platonic database of the drinking habits of Americans.

According to Drizly’s 2023 Consumer Trend Report, 45% of respondents were extremely likely or likely to take part in a month-long “dry” challenge such as Dry January. Although the focus of Drizly’s business is alcoholic beverages, it reported that the non-alcoholic category saw 62 percent growth in 2023 over the preceding year, based on dollars spent. Non-alcoholic beer is the most popular subcategory and was up 35 percent over 2022, while non-alcoholic wine and sprits continue to lag, despite 83 percent growth and 167 percent growth year-over-year, respectively.

Not surprisingly, beer SKUs dominate the list of top sellers as well as the list of fastest growing sellers.
