Licorice is a candy made from the licorice root known for its salty taste and deep black color. It’s a popular treat in Scandinavian countries. We visited the factory for Lakrids by Johan Bülow in Copenhagen, where 330 pounds of licorice are churned out per hour, and saw just how the treat is made.
