It’s an eco adventurer’s dream: 706 islands to conquer without stepping foot on a plane. From Oronsay, Britain’s smallest, to Lewis and Harris, the largest after Great Britain and Ireland, the growing trend for ‘island bagging’ should instill UK travellers with a fresh drive to explore their doorstep.
