Influencer ridiculed after followers spot the same cloud formation in every photo

A travel blogger has fallen prey to widespread mockery and criticism after one of her followers noticed she’d been adding clouds to the background of her photos.

We have two key questions about this revelation: the first being, what’s the point in the clouds, and the second, why the furore? 

Tupi Saravia, a Buenos Aires-based Argentinian with 296,000 Instagram followers and a number of brand partnerships, has confessed to using an editing app called Quickshot to pepper the sky with meteorological effects, in images that are “burned or overexposed”.
