Like humans, rivers have both personalities and moods. They can be as calm and silent as the ferns on the forest floor or they can hiss and spit in a rage of whitewater madness. They can be deep or shallow, loud or quiet, their waters dark and opaque, or as clear as glass.

They can be carefree wanderers, turning back on themselves, meandering aimlessly without any apparent sense of objective or destination, or they can run fast and focused, straight as an arrow towards the sea.
